To get the update: Menu > Settings & Tools > Phone Info > Software Update > Check New
It includes a new version of the web browser that appears to be much faster loading web pages.
Not sure what all has been included in this update besides the browser.

Don't update. You will be sorry. Many of the original features have been taken away. It's always a full screen. My favorites are gone. Automatic sizing is gone. They are trying to get you to use the browser less and they have succeeded.

I totally disagree. It's MUCH faster loading pages and it does automatically resize, at least on my phone it does, PLUS it automatically zooms to the login input area, which is VERY handy compared to before. Yeah, you lose your favorites, but not that big of a deal for me to put them back in for all the speed gained.
What original features have been removed? Please give details.
The only thing that's not there after the update is the ability to copy text on your phone, say in a text message or note, and then paste that copied text into a text field in the browser. Other than that, nothing else is missing that I know of.

I would like to go back to the previous update. Is it possible to do that? I do not like the new browser at all. Thanks

Also, along with the new (sweet as heck, if you ask me!) browser, the video player is different as well, which was much needed I think. The browser's taken a little bit of getting used to but I'm really actually enjoying it-it seems to organize everything better. With the new software, it does seem like maybe it lags behind whenever you're typing, but it's still getting everything correct for the majority...

Not sure if this would be possible or not. If the previous version (CI23) was what your phone had on it from the factory, then theoretically, you should be able to reset your phone to factory settings and have that version. Do this at your own risk and realize that you will lose EVERYTHING you have on your phone. You may be able to take it to a Verizon store and have them do it, but I doubt they would, since updates are usually an improvement.

Menu>Settings and Tools>Phone Settings>Security>Restore Phone Your phone will be just as it was when it was from the factory. This may also mean you will have to reactivate it, not sure about that either. Do at your own risk.
